Google has created a simple but useful tool that helps to keep your day to day notes online in google drive. This tool is called Google Keep (http://keep.google.com). Using this tool you can create and manage all your simple notes easily.
Google Keep has a android app too. You can download it from Google Play. Then you can access your notes from anywhere you go.
